Often Paul talks about Jesus and then - as a consequence or effect of what Jesus has done - Paul talks about the identity of the believer. Given what he says in this chapter about how we used to be and now what we have become, how important is it that a Christian no longer "follow the ways of this world" (v. 2)?
Invitation
We read in v. 18, "For through him we both [Jew and Gentile] have access to the Father by one Spirit." Think about the importance of this access. What will you do with it today?
